Sail yachts entering the Sound

 

There are several local sailing clubs/associations who enjoy the Cattewater, including Plym Yacht Club, Mayflower Boat Owners Association, Royal Western Yacht Club, Hooe Point Sailing Club.

The Plymouth Port of Sailing Association (P.P.S.A.) hold monthly meetings for it's members and hosts successfully attended dinghy and yacht regattas in the port every summer.

Harbour Dues 
All vessels transiting through or lying within the harbour limits are subject to Harbour Dues.  
Harbour Dues for vessels (other than commercial vessels) are set at £50.35 p/a +VAT (1/04/2017-31/03/2018).

There are no anchorages within the Cattewater. 
Vessels wishing to anchor should consult the local chart for anchorages within The Sound.
