We will continue to support and partner local marine autonomy operators to encourage diversification and upskilling

These can be improved as part of waterfront enhancements so would be considered with new developments to ensure climate resilience

Infrastructure

It is recognised that port infrastructure is aging and requires investment to meet future port needs. We will support wharf modernisation and explore the developments that may increase use of the port and its surrounding areas. Water transport around the port is key and we will support any expansion and further routes within the Cattewater

Growing tourism

We have a programme to drive leisure including use by local community plus promoting visiting cruise (Destination Plymouth) and superyachts, encouraging high quality attractions and waterfront, and leveraging our Marine Park with hospitality offerings and technology fan experience offerings

We continue to seek support from Great SW, Innovate UK and Levelling Up to invest into the port and Cattewater area
