Before any diving activity takes place within Cattewater Harbour, the dive contractor must obtain permission to dive from the Harbour Master in the form of a Dive Permit.
The Dive Permit form must be submitted to the Harbour Master via email hm@plymouthport.org.uk and info@plymouthport.org.uk within office hours, and diving cannot take place before an approved permit is issued.
The following documents must be submitted for review alongside a permit application:
- Proof of Insurance
- All Diver’s Medical Certificates
- All Divers Qualifications
- Site Specific Risk Assessment
No recreational diving is permitted in the Cattewater.
