For customers requiring a long-term mooring solution in Plymouth, our maintained trot moorings provide just that. Moorings are available as follows:
- Plym Trot – <1m draft, 27’LOA
- Oreston Inner – <30’LOA
- Oreston Outer – <32’LOA, plus 7 larger moorings up to 36’LOA
Cocklebank – <36’ LOA
The mooring season runs from 1st April every year. Please contact us to discuss your options.
Self maintained moorings can be laid within the harbour after permission has been sought from the harbour master by means of a self maintained mooring license, chargeable annually.
Mooring equipment must meet minimum requirements before a license is granted, and equipment inspections must occur annually. Harbour staff, on behalf of the harbour master, may conduct ‘spot inspections’ on self maintained moorings to ensure they comply with license conditions.
We can assist in your mooring maintenance using our Work Barge and experienced crews. Please contact the harbour office to discuss your requirements.
All moorings within Cattewater Harbour Limits are subject to our Moorings Policy, available here.
