It was a pleasure to host our first in-person stakeholder event yesterday and enjoy a boat trip on the Cattewater.
We welcomed residents who live by the Cattewater and local water users as well as representatives from the Cattewater Harbour Users Group, Plymouth City Council, Tamar Estuaries Consultative Forum and commercial stakeholders.
Captain Richard Allan introduced members of the crew and partner agencies to speak and answer any questions during the hour-long event.
Having anchored in the Sound overnight there was also the opportunity to see the Dar Mlodziezy up close – the tall ship has been welcomed to Plymouth by the Lord Mayor. One of the world’s largest tall ships, her home port is Gydnia, Poland.
We plan to host similar events like this in the future and will update our website and social media with details.
